China Sports Lottery National Juvenile Bridge Summer Camp Jiangsu Taicang Branch Camp Successfully Closed

The week-long Taicang Jiangsu branch, organized by the China Bridges Association and sponsored by the 2017 China Sports Lottery Youth Bridge Summer Camp and Taicang Bridge Association, officially opened on July 16th. More than 170 primary and secondary school students in this Municipality and in Jiangyin City and Zhangjiagang City participated in this summer camp activity. In this summer camp, there are four levels of classes: the initiation class, the primary class, the intermediate class, and the advanced class. The City Bridge Association organized more than 10 outstanding bridge backbones in the city to serve as tutors. The teachers in each class carefully prepared lesson plans, developed bridge teaching outlines according to the requirements of the Shiqiao Association, and provided training and counseling to students according to the teaching materials, which successfully met the expectations. During the summer camp, in order to combine patriotism education, on the morning of July 19th, he visited the Zhenghe Memorial Hall in Zheng He Park in Taicang. He also visited the magnificent pier at Taicang Port to enable students to further understand the achievements of Taicang's economic development.
In the last two days of the summer camp, team competitions and double competitions were held. Participants at different levels conducted practical exercises in each group, demonstrated bridge teaching results, and enjoyed the fun of the bridge. Since 2002, Taicang City has held the National Primary and Secondary School Bridge Summer Camp for 16 consecutive years. It has trained a batch of approved bridge successors and laid a solid foundation for the continuous development of Taicang Bridge. This summer camp was closed on the afternoon of July 22, and a certificate of award was issued to students during the closing ceremony.
